Sermon on the Mount
Questions from Sunday 2 October
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they will be filled
(Matt 5:6)
The aim of these questions is that we would consider the Sunday teaching in more detail, taking time to explore God’s Word further and seeing how it applies to our lives and the lives of those around us.
- When you were young was there anything you really wanted?
- If you got it did it live up to expectations?
- Have your desires changed as you have grown older?
- Jon talked about two different types of righteousness: imputed and imparted. How would you explain the difference between them?
- Which type of righteousness does Paul talk about in Romans 4?
- Do you think of yourself as being righteous?
- As you look at your own Christian life when has your hunger and thirst for righteousness been greatest?
- How can we help each other in Life Group to grow in righteousness?
