Pastor's Letter July 2015

 Dear Friends

What is God going to do next?  That is a big question that we often ask.  We know that God has a plan of redemption which he is unfolding and that ultimately his plan is to bring “unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ” (Eph 1:10), but the detail of his plans is often a mystery.  Even the spiritual realms don’t know the detail of God’s plans.  Only God knows.  So how and when do we find out what the next step is?

In Ephesians 3:10&11 Paul writes  “[God’s] intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose which he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord”.  As I read these words the picture I get is that all the heavenly realms, all the spiritual forces, angels and demons, are waiting to see what God will do next, how he will unveil his plans, and God’s response is to point them towards us, his church, and to say “if you want to know what happens next – watch them – I’ll tell them first”.  God is working out his plans through his church, and all of heaven waits to see what happens next, but it is revealed through us, his church.  What a privilege and responsibility.

Last Sunday I spoke about how God is already at work through Liberty Church, working out his plans and transforming lives.  We believe that every ministry within our church is birthed in the heart of God, communicated to willing men and women who begin to work out God’s plans one step at a time, and as we do that all of heaven sees the “manifold wisdom” of God revealed.

As we move into Summer months and for many a time of rest and restoration, let us continue to draw close to our God, to listen for his voice, his prompting, so that together we can continue to reveal God’s wisdom to all of heaven and the community around us.

Love and blessings

See everything as clearly as God sees us, knowing him specifically similarly as he most likely is aware us! As opposed to stress over what he doesn't have even an inkling, Paul celebrates in what he knows. He realizes that God sees us plainly and knows us straightforwardly. God's learning of us is absolutely great since that is the means by which God made us. http://www.essayempire.co.uk/essay-writing-service

That is an unavoidable issue that we regularly inquire. We realize that God has an arrangement of recovery which he is unfurling and that at last, he will likely bring "solidarity to everything in paradise and on earth under Christ" yet the detail of his designs is frequently a puzzle.
